Devious Journal Entry

Mon Jun 6, 2005, 3:22 PM
I've been after getting a tattoo for ages now, I've got quite a lot of piercings [still not enough] and I want to finalise this tattoo design. I've always gone for the circular geometric designs, I like things simple. I recently convinced myself it'd look great on the inner thighs [ but now think it is too fussy] so i am now swaying again to the idea of a back design.

The general idea I have is a selection of varied sized circles (getting slightly larger as it goes down my back) as windows revealing my backbone/spine. I'm researching on spines atm and I'll post my development work when i get round to it first.

I'm not sure whether I want to do a more abstract spine bone or a typical anatomically correct version, erh... i'll think more on it.

critique is welcome, i wont be doing this for quite a few months now... autumn time.

[mmm drum + bass] I did some modeling last friday, so as soon as i recieve copies I'll post them about asap, hopefully if my scanner works after pouring cider on it last night...they are portraits btw, just a preliminary black and white set for a project i will be advising and assisting for a local artist looking into subcultures [ i know cliched, but this is genuine]
